PART-TIME/FLEXIBLE JOB OPENINGS - STUYVESANT NY
Capsule Supplies, a growing, privately owned e-commerce company relocating to Hudson, NY seeks to add several full and part-time employees to its workforce.
Capsule Supplies offers employees a friendly and casual workplace environment with flexible hours and competitive pay. Additional compensation will be considered for those with experience/familiarity with selling or working with e-commerce platforms including Amazon. Ebay, Etsy, Jet, etc. Reliable transportation is a must.
Positions available include:
Order Fillers and Packers (Full and Part-time)
Basic Skills Required:
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read computer printed orders
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand for several hours at a time
- Light duty lifting and bending
- Able to be comfortable in a repetitious and routine environment
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred, but not required
Duties for this position include but may not be limited to:
- Packaging products and gathering inventory from warehouse to match printed order requests for merchandise, and ensuring that correct products are selected for orders.
- Maintaining a tidy work environment
- Keeping track of product and supplies inventory on a regular basis and reporting when stock is low
- Answering customer phone calls, handling phone inquiries and routing calls to appropriate personnel

Warehouse/Shipping Manager Apprentice (Part-time w/possibility of Full time)
Basic Skills Required:
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Basic math skills
- Intermediate computer and internet skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift 25 lb boxes for 1-2 hours a day once per month
- Knowledge of shipping software and prior shipping experience a plus
Duties for this position include but may not be limited to:
- Working with shipping manager to determine best packaging method of shipment for daily customer orders
- Preparing packages for shipment: boxing, taping, labeling, etc.
- Working with online shipping software to determine shipping rates and methods, creating shipping templates for frequently shipped products and tracking shipments.
- May be asked to work with warehouse team to arrange inventory and pull from shelves.
- Requisition additional materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Work with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
- Prepare order reports for management
- Assist shipping manager with logistics, scheduling and documentation for incoming domestic and international freight and air shipments
- Assist shipping manager with product inventory and responding to inventory fluctuations and demands
